Sekretariat Kabinet (Setkab) bekerja sama dengan Korea International Cooperation Agency<\/em> (KOICA) dan KDI School of Public Policy & Management<\/em> menyelenggarakan program Single Country Training on Cabinet Management for Better and Effective Policies and Regulations\u00a0<\/em>di Seoul dan Sejong, Korea Selatan tanggal 5-18 Agustus.<\/p>\n

\u0093Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kapasitas analisis dan pejabat di Setkab, serta memperluas dan memperdalam pemahaman mereka tentang kebijakan untuk regulasi yang efektif,\u0094 ujar Kepala Bagian Pengembangan Kapasitas Pegawai Setkab, Elizabeth D. Simanjuntak, dalam sambutannya pada pembukaan di Sejong, Korea Selatan, Selasa (7\/8).<\/p>\n

Melalui program ini, tutur Elizabeth, Setkab menaruh harapan yang besar kepada para peserta agar bisa memperoleh banyak pengetahuan dan membawa serta mengimplementasikan gagasan tersebut saat kembali ke unit kerja di Setkab serta secara umum bagi Indonesia.<\/p>\n

\u0093Melihat detail program yang diberikan, keahlian yang diajarkan, serta tempat-tempat yang akan dikunjungi, saya meyakini semua pelajaran dan pengalaman tersebut akan bisa memperkaya pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta tentang kebijakan yang dibuat oleh Pemerintah Korea Selatan,\u0094 ujar Elizabeth.<\/p>\n

Mengakhiri sambutan, Elizabeth mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang membantu terselenggaranya progam ini. Ia juga meminta para peserta untuk menikmati program tersebut.<\/p>\n

\u0093Jadi antusiaslah, rajinlah, bertanggungjawablah, dan nikmati Korea Selatan,\u0094 pungkas Elizabeth.<\/p>\n

Pelatihan, yang diikuti\u00a0oleh sembilan orang pejabat dari lintas kedeputian di lingkungan Setkab, bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta mengenai pembuatan kebijakan pemerintah secara efektif, simplifikasi regulasi, berbagi pengalaman mengenai penerapan reformasi regulasi dan pembangunan ekonomi di Korea Selatan, serta membahas studi kasus mengenai deregulasi dan diseminasi kebijakan.<\/p>\n

Program tersebut merupakan program perdana peningkatan kapasitas (capacity building<\/em>) yang diselenggarakan oleh Setkab bekerja sama KOICA serta KDI School of Pub Pol & Management <\/em>dan direncanakan berlangsung untuk 4 tahun ke depan.
