Mengawali kegiatannya dalam kunjungan selama dua hari di Bangkok, Thailand, Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) melakukan sejumlah pertemuan bilateral dengan beberapa pemimpin negara-negara ASEAN.<\/p>\n

Pertama, Presiden Jokowi mengadakan pertemuan dengan Perdana Menteri Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha. Pertemuan kedua pemimpin berlangsung di Hotel Athenee, Bangkok. Di tempat yang sama,\u00a0Kepala Negara juga melakukan pertemuan bilateral dengan State<\/i> Counsellor<\/i> Myanmar Aung Sun Suu Kyi.\u00a0Setelah itu, Presiden bertemu dengan Perdana Menteri Viet Nam Nguyen Xuan Phuc.<\/p>\n

Pada malam harinya, Presiden diagendakan untuk melakukan pertemuan dengan Presiden Filipina Rodrigo Duterte yang rencananya akan dilangsungkan setelah mengikuti ASEAN Leaders Interface serta Sesi Plenari Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) ASEAN ke-34.<\/p>\n

Mendampingi Presiden Joko Widodo selama pertemuan Menko Polhukam Wiranto, Menko Perekonomian Darmin Nasution, Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung, Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi, Menteri Perdagangan Enggartiasto Lukita, dan Duta Besar Republik Indonesia untuk Thailand Ahmad Rusdi.
