Guna memberikan penghormatan yang setinggi-tingginya kepada putra terbaik bangsa, Prof. Dr. Baharudin Jusuf (B.J.) Habibie yang wafat pada usia 83 tahun, pada Rabu (11\/9) pukul 18.05 WIB, di RSPAD Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, pemerintah menginstruksikan untuk mengibarkan bendera setengah tiang selama tiga hari, 12-14 September 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cKepada para pimpinan Lembaga Negara, Gubernur Bank Indonesia, Menteri, Jaksa Agung, Panglima TNI, Kapolri, Pimpinan Lembaga Non Struktural, LPNK, Gubernur, Bupati, Walikota, pimpinan BUMN\/BUMD, serta Kepala Perwakilan RI di luar negeri untuk mengibarkan bendera negara setengah tiang,\u201d tulis Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Pratikno dalam suratnya yang bersifat sangat segera, Rabu (11\/9).<\/p>\n

Dalam surat yang ditujukan kepada para pejabat tersebut di atas, Mensesneg menyebutkan, pengibaran bendera negara setengah tiang dilakukan selama tiga hari, dari tanggal 12 hingga 14 September 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cSelanjutnya kepada Gubernur, Bupati dan Walikota agar menyampaikan kepada masyarakat untuk mengibarkan Bendera Negara setengah tiang,\u201d bunyi akhir surat Mensesneg yang tembusannya dikirimkan kepada Presiden RI dan Wakil Presiden RI itu.
