(Foto: BPMI Setpres\/Laily Rachev)<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) berharap agar Indonesia dapat menghentikan impor alat kesehatan, obat-obatan, maupun bahan baku obat serta memproduksi barang-barang tersebut di dalam negeri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAlat-alat kesehatan, obat-obatan, bahan baku obat, kita harus berhenti untuk mengimpor barang-barang itu lagi dan kita lakukan, kita produksi sendiri di negara kita,\u201d ujar Presiden dalam sambutannya saat melakukan <em>groundbreaking<\/em> Rumah Sakit (RS) Internasional Bali yang terletak di Kawasan Wisata Sanur, Kota Denpasar, Provinsi Bali, pada Senin (27\/12\/2021).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Untuk menekan impor bahan baku obat, Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Erick Thohir mengatakan bahwa pihaknya akan memfokuskan BUMN Indofarma untuk pengembangan industri herbal untuk obat-obatan.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIndustri herbal sendiri kita punya kekuatan, memang kita mempunyai alam dan punya kultur mengenai industri herbal ini. Karena itu Indofarma kita akan fokus pengembangan industri herbal pengobatan,\u201d ujar Erick dalam laporannya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sementara BUMN Kimia Farma, tetap akan fokus dalam penyediaan obat-obatan generik untuk memberikan akses obat yang terjangkau bagi masyarakat. Produksi obat-obatan ini juga akan didorong untuk menggunakan bahan baku dalam negeri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIni kalau digabungkan ya kita berharap ke depan, empat tahun ke depan kita bisa menekan impor bahan baku obat sampai 75 persen. Jadi yang 95 turun 20 persen,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lebih lanjut, Menteri BUMN mengungkapkan bahwa saat ini pihaknya telah mengonsolidasikan klaster kesehatan BUMN. Ini merupakan bagian dari pembentukan ekosistem guna memperkuat ketahanan dan kemandirian kesehatan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cKita tahu, ekosistem ini menjadi kunci. Kalau kita berdiri sendiri-sendiri akhirnya tentu kita tidak punya kekuatan yang terpadu untuk menahan gelombang yang terjadi ke depannya,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kementerian BUMN telah berhasil menggabungkan Bio Farma sebagai perusahaan induk atau\u00a0<em>holding company<\/em>\u00a0yang membawahi Kimia Farma, Indofarma, dan sejumlah rumah sakit BUMN yang berada di bawah Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC). Secara bisnis, ujar Erick, Bio Farma diharapkan dapat membuka peluang-peluang baru dalam industri kesehatan seperti vaksinasi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cKita coba sekarang bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak, apakah mengembangkan vaksin mRNA atau protein rekombinan yang hari ini memang masih terus kita jajaki,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Menteri BUMN mengungkapkan, vaksin produksi Bio Farma telah mulai diuji klinis pada tanggal 13 Desember lalu. Dengan dimulainya tahapan uji klinis ini Erick berharap Indonesia dapat segera memproduksi vaksin secara mandiri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cKita harapkan dengan uji klinis ini ke-1, lalu ke-2, dan ke-3, kita juga bisa menekan impor vaksin di tahun depan.
