Presiden Joko Widodo mengunjungi Pasar Wonokromo, Kota Surabaya, Provinsi Jawa Timur, pada Sabtu (18\/02\/2023), untuk mengecek harga bahan pangan seperti beras, minyak goreng, dan telur. Untuk harga beras, menurut Presiden harga di pasaran sudah cukup baik dengan kisaran harga Rp9.000 per kilogram.<\/p>\n

\u201cSaya ingin mengecek barang yang sangat penting yang namanya beras. Apakah operasi dari Bulog sudah sampai ke warung, ke pasar-pasar, saya lihat sudah dan harganya baik, tadi Rp44.000 untuk 5 kilo(gram). Artinya, harga di bawah Rp9.000. Tadi kita lihat semua warung ada semuanya dan melimpah di sini,\u201d ujar Presiden.<\/p>\n

Presiden melanjutkan, pada akhir bulan Februari dan awal Maret sejumlah daerah sudah memulai panen raya. Dengan panen tersebut, Presiden berharap stok beras makin melimpah yang kemudian dapat berpengaruh terhadap harga beras di pasaran.<\/p>\n

\u201cMungkin secara nasional di Februari mungkin 1 jutaan (hektare), mungkin nanti di bulan Maret 1,9-an (juta hektare). Kira-kira itu, sehingga kalau produksi dari petani, dari panen ada artinya stok melimpah. Kalau stok melimpah permintaan tetap, artinya harga akan secara otomatis akan turun,\u201d tambahnya.<\/p>\n

Sementara untuk harga bahan pangan lain seperti minyak goreng, Presiden mengatakan bahwa stok minyak goreng di Pasar Wonokromo cukup banyak dengan harga Rp14.000 per liter. Kemudian untuk telur dan bawang merah, Presiden menyampaikan bahwa harga kedua bahan pangan tersebut juga turun meskipun tidak signifikan.<\/p>\n

Kepala Negara pun berharap stabilitas harga pangan di daerah dapat terus dipertahankan, sehingga inflasi baik di daerah maupun nasional secara keseluruhan dapat dikendalikan dengan baik.<\/p>\n

\u201cJangan sampai nanti kayak beras, sebulan yang lalu mengerek inflasi yang sangat tinggi di seluruh Tanah Air, bukan hanya di Jawa Timur saja. Tapi sekarang sejak lima hari yang lalu karena operasi beras dari Bulog sudah mulai turun, meskipun belum semua daerah,\u201d lanjutnya.
