Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) melantik Komjen Rycko Amelza Dahniel sebagai Kepala Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT), Senin (03\/04\/2023), di Istana Negara, Jakarta. Pelantikan dilakukan bersamaan dengan pelantikan Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo atau Dito Ariotedjo sebagai Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora).<\/p>\n

Pengangkatan Rycko sebagai Kepala BNPT didasarkan pada Keputusan Presiden RI Nomor 51\/TPA Tahun 2023 tentang Pemberhentian dan Pengangkatan Dari dan Dalam Jabatan Pimpinan Tinggi Utama di Lingkungan Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme.<\/p>\n

\u201cDemi Allah saya bersumpah bahwa saya akan setia kepada Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945 serta akan menjalankan segala peraturan perundang-undangan dengan selurus-lurusnya demi darmabakti saya kepada bangsa dan negara. Bahwa saya dalam menjalankan tugas jabatan akan menjunjung tinggi etika jabatan, bekerja dengan sebaik-baiknya, dengan penuh rasa tanggung jawab,\u201d demikian sumpah jabatan yang diucapkan Rycko.<\/p>\n

Rycko ditunjuk Presiden menjadi Kepala BNPT untuk menggantikan pendahulunya Boy Rafli Amar yang memasuki masa pensiun.<\/p>\n

Turut hadir dalam pelantikan ini, antara lain, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, Sekretaris Kabinet (Seskab) Pramono Anung, Panglima TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono, dan Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
