Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menerbitkan Peraturan Presiden Republik Indonesia (Perpres) Nomor 58 Tahun 2023 tentang Penguatan Moderasi Beragama pada tanggal 25 September 2023.<\/p>\n

Dalam pertimbangan peraturan yang dapat diakses pada laman\u00a0JDIH Sekretariat Kabinet<\/a>\u00a0disebutkan bahwa keragaman agama dan keyakinan merupakan anugerah Tuhan kepada bangsa Indonesia yang mendasari perilaku warga negara dan negara yang menempati posisi penting dan strategis dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara di Indonesia berdasarkan kepada Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa.<\/p>\n

Selain itu disebutkan, penguatan moderasi beragama diperlukan karena moderasi beragama merupakan modal dasar untuk keutuhan dan peningkatan kualitas kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara di Indonesia. Penguatan moderasi beragama tersebut, memerlukan arah kebijakan dan pengaturan yang terencana, sistematis, dan berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeraturan Presiden ini dimaksudkan sebagai pedoman bagi pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, dan umat beragama dalam rangka penguatan moderasi beragama,\u201d disebutkan dalam Pasal 2.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut pada Pasal 3 disebutkan, penguatan moderasi beragama dilaksanakan untuk penguatan cara pandang, sikap, dan praktik beragama secara moderat untuk memantapkan persaudaraan dan kebersamaan di kalangan umat beragama; penguatan harmoni dan kerukunan umat beragama; penyelarasan relasi cara beragama dan berbudaya; peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kehidupan beragama; serta pengembangan ekonomi umat dan sumber daya keagamaan.<\/p>\n

\u201cPenguatan moderasi beragama diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah daerah secara terencana, sistematis, koordinatif, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan,\u201d bunyi Perpres.<\/p>\n

Penyelenggaraan penguatan moderasi beragama ini didasarkan\u00a0pada pedoman\u00a0umum\u00a0penguatan\u00a0moderasi beragama, yang terdiri atas \u00a0indikator moderasi beragama; esensi moderasi beragama; ekosistem dan kelompok strategis moderasi beragama; arah kebijakan dan strategi\u00a0penguatan\u00a0moderasi beragama; dan\u00a0program penguatan\u00a0moderasi beragama.<\/p>\n
