Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengundang Presiden Republik Persatuan Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan untuk berpartisipasi dalam penyelenggaraan Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) II Tahun 2024. Undangan tersebut disampaikan Presiden dalam pertemuan bilateral dengan Presiden Samia, di Istana Kepresidenan Bogor, Jakarta, Kamis (25\/01\/2024).<\/p>\n

“Untuk memperkuat Kerja Sama Selatan-Selatan, khususnya kerja sama ekonomi yang konkret, Indonesia akan menyelenggarakan Indonesia-Africa Forum II, di mana partisipasi Tanzania sangat diharapkan,” ujar Presiden.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, Presiden juga menyampaikan apresiasi atas kunjungan Presiden Samia yang dinilainya sebagai cerminan semakin kuatnya hubungan kedua negara.<\/p>\n

“Hari ini kita juga akan memperluas kerja sama di berbagai bidang dan saya yakin ini akan memberikan manfaat bagi rakyat kedua negara, Tanzania dan Indonesia,” ujar Presiden Jokowi.<\/p>\n

Pada kesempatan itu, Kepala Negara juga menyampaikan ucapan belasungkawa bagi masyarakat Tanzania yang terdampak bencana banjir dan tanah longsor.<\/p>\n

“Saya ingin menyampaikan solidaritas dan belasungkawa yang mendalam atas bencana banjir dan tanah longsor di Distrik Hanang awal Desember 2023 yang lalu. Semoga masyarakat terdampak dapat segera pulih,” tandasnya.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kunjungan Presiden Samia kali ini adalah untuk memenuhi undangan sekaligus balasan atas kunjungan Presiden Jokowi ke Tanzania pada Agustus 2023 silam. Dalam pernyataannya, Presiden Samia menyampaikan apresiasi atas undangan dan sambutan hangat yang diberikan kepada delegasi Tanzania.<\/p>\n
