Presiden Prabowo Subianto menerima kunjungan kehormatan Menteri Negara Urusan Luar Negeri Qatar, Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, pada Senin, 15 Juni 2026. Pertemuan tersebut membahas penguatan hubungan bilateral Indonesia dan Qatar, termasuk kerja sama investasi serta persiapan momentum 50 tahun hubungan diplomatik kedua negara.<\/p>\n

Sekretaris Kabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya dalam keterangan tertulisnya menyampaikan bahwa dalam pertemuan tersebut, Menteri Negara Urusan Luar Negeri Qatar menyampaikan salam hangat dan apresiasi dari Emir Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, kepada Presiden Prabowo.<\/p>\n

\u201cEmir Qatar juga mengapresiasi kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo dan kemajuan ekonomi Indonesia, khususnya dukungan terhadap program kesehatan, pendidikan, dan makan bergizi,\u201d ujar Seskab Teddy.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, pertemuan tersebut juga membahas rencana kunjungan Emir Qatar ke Indonesia pada akhir tahun 2026. Kunjungan tersebut diharapkan menjadi momentum penting dalam memperingati 50 tahun hubungan diplomatik antara Indonesia dan Qatar.<\/p>\n

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Qatar juga menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus memperkuat investasi di Indonesia. Pemerintah Qatar menyampaikan komitmen investasi senilai USD4 miliar, serta membuka peluang perluasan investasi di berbagai sektor strategis lainnya.<\/p>\n

Komitmen tersebut mencerminkan kepercayaan Qatar terhadap prospek ekonomi Indonesia sekaligus menjadi bagian dari upaya kedua negara dalam memperluas kemitraan yang saling menguntungkan. Kerja sama investasi ini diharapkan dapat mendukung agenda pembangunan nasional, memperkuat sektor-sektor strategis, serta memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat kedua negara.<\/p>\n
