Ambassador who is going to submit her letter of credence is welcomed by an honor guard at the yard of the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (4\/10)<\/p><\/div>\n

President Joko \u0091Jokowi\u0092 Widodo on Tuesday (4\/10) at the Merdeka Palace received letters of credence from eighteen Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) for the Republic of Indonesia.<\/p>\n

After the Credential ceremony held at the Kredensial room at the Merdeka Palace, President Jokowi invited the Ambassadors one by one to have a veranda talk for a closer talk.<\/p>\n

Also attending the ceremony were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi, Cabinet Secretary PramonoAnung, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Chief of the Indonesian National Police Tito Karnavian.<\/p>\n

For the record, a new tradition was also introduced in the ceremony in which the Ambassadors were welcomed by the\u00a0honor guards at the front yard of the Merdeka Palace before entering the waiting room at the Palace.<\/p>\n
