This can be seen by the issuance of 13 economic policy packages within the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, the result achieved within the first two years of Jokowi \u0096 JK administration is the emergence of tremendous public trust, as seen from the public support in the implementation of the first phase of tax amnesty on last 30 September.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As of the first program, the number of repatriation funds accumulated was approximately Rp97 trillion. While overall funds for both declarations, repatriation, and others was nearly Rp3,600 trillion. It shows that the Jokowi \u0096 JK administration receives a tremendous public trust,&#8221; Pramono said in an interview regarding two years of Jokowi \u0096 JK administration in his office, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Floor of Building III of the Ministry of State Secretariat (<em>Kemensetneg<\/em>) last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The said achievement, according to Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, can be achieved because the President led directly the dissemination of Tax Amnesty Program. While the Ministry of Finance under the leadership of Sri Mulyani performs well, and all employees and officers of tax office have gone all out as well as the tremendous trust from the public.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, a survey conducted by the Center for Strategic and Internatinal Studies (CSIS), which was released on 13 September 2016 has revealed that public satisfaction regarding the performances of Jokowi \u0096 JK administration reached 66.5 percent, an increase compared to October 2015 which was 50.6 percent.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the survey, the Cabinet Secretary reiterated that CSIS survey showed that what was performed by President Jokowi and Vice President Jusuf Kalla administration was already on the right tracks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interisland Connectivity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apart from focusing on the economy, the Government also focused on accelerating the infrastructure development. Moreover, Indonesia consists of 17,000 islands with widespread location. Hence, connectivity becomes an issue, the Cabinet Secretary further said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To this end, infrastructures such as airports, seaports, transroads were constructed in Papua, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and in Sumatra as well. This aims to make those places closer so that no difference between Java and outside Java,&#8221; Pramono said.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono said that the infrastructure development in Papua has reaped fruitful results and contributed to the decline in fuel prices drastically. &#8220;And also sea toll, <em>Alhamdulillah<\/em>, can begin to reduce the cost of logistics in the sea although the price has not come down as expected. But the cost has declined by around 20 percent,&#8221; Pramono added.<\/p>\n<p>In relation to budget constraints for infrastructures, in the last Cabinet meeting as said by Pramono, the President has requested an additional Rp100 billion to expedite infrastructure development.
