President Joko \u0091Jokowi\u0092 Widodo admitted that e-KTP (Electronic Identification Card) caseis a big issue. He said that if\u00a0 the process of making the e-KTP is perfect and accurate, it would have solved many problems.\u0093For example, it can be used for passport as well as driver\u0092s license application, tax, banking, and elections matters without providing the copy of it,\u0094 the President said anwering the journalists\u0092 questions after opening the 2017 Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX), at Semeru Room, Pusat Niaga Building, JI-Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Saturday (11\/3) morning.<\/p>\n

If the system is good, there should be no problem. However, the program failed now due to corruption.\u0093I want the legal process to be well-conducted. I am sure KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) is professional,\u0094 the President said. Concerning the issue that one of minister in the Working Cabinet gets involved in this case which causes more than Rp2 trillion of state loss, the President firmly said that people should hold pressumption of innocence principle. \u0093Leave it to KPK,\u0094 he further said.<\/p>\n

The President also mentioned about the continuation of e-KTP program after the corruption case is revealed. According to him, officers in Ministry of Home Affairs are restless and having in doing their works because so far there are 32 people called by KPK.<\/p>\n

So, the shortage of forms and delays are the effect of this corruption case.<\/p>\n
