The provisions on that policy have already been issued.<\/p>\n<p>Darmin said that 5,299 out of 10,826 HS or 48.3 percent of the total of imported goods, which enter the country, are categorized as goods that required to be verified at port. With that policy, the number of HS that should be verified at port is reduced to 2,256 HS or 20.8 percent<\/p>\n<p>Although the verification is not conducted at port, Darmin ensured that the related ministries can verify goods at factories which produce imported goods that stated their exact addresses.<\/p>\n<p>The Government also exempts 498 companies which have run their business in Indonesia since a decade from port verification of 381 HS.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093We call them \u0091companies with good reputation\u0092. The companies have viable products, it can be checked in their factories which have exact addresses. Do not force them to be verified at port because it will take quite a long time to do it,\u0094 Darmin added.<\/p>\n<p>Darmin asserted that 381 HS that are imported not from the 498 companies still need to be verified at border.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the number of HS which should be verified at border is 2,370. Meanwhile, 2,859 HS can be verified at factories\/post borders.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Coordinating Minister, the simplification in trading system is aimed at boosting competitiveness of industries that need imported raw materials, particularly for companies that export their products, boosting export competitiveness, and consumption goods\u00a0 necessities.<\/p>\n<p>The Goverment belives that this measure will give impact to the smooth flow of goods and will cut dwelling time to 0.9-1.1 days.<strong> (FID\/JAY\/ES)<\/strong> <strong>(RAS\/MUR\/<\/strong><strong>MMB\/YM\/Naster<\/strong>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starting from Thursday (1\/2), the Government cuttypes of imported goods subject to be verified at port (border verification) from 5,229 Harmonized System (HS) to 2,256 HS.
