(Photo: Humas\/Anggun)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u0093It will be roughly done in 50 days, by 125 people paid Rp90,000 per day,\u0094 President Joko \u0091Jokowi\u0092 Widodo said while visited Cash for Work (Padat Karya Tunai) Program in Banyuurip Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, in South Sumatra, on Monday (22\/1).<\/p>\n<p>In the future, the President added, there will be 180 points of similar Cash for Work program that has the total budget of Rp41 billions. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>He continued that the budget will be set for Cash for Work and self-management. It is expected, the President further said, that irrigration maintenance and repairment will increase productivities in the areas.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of State explained that this program was undertaken by P3A (Water User Farmers Association) and supervised or controlled by Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) chambers.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093We hope, weekly pay will rise money circulation in regions and villages. We also hope that purchasing power consumption will increase, while we await 230,000 hectares rice paddy fields ready to be harvested at the end of this February. It is a huge paddy, a big harvest time,\u0094 the President added.<\/p>\n<p>This Cash for Work program, according to the Head of State, is undertaken in every provinces in order to strengthen the money circulation in the regions, to boost purchasing power consumption among villagers, and to reconstruct a better irrigration infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>To be present at the occasion were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Social Affairs Idrus Marham, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, and South Sumatra Governor Alex Nurdin.
