Here is the Line-up of President Jokowi\u0092s and Vice President Jusuf Kalla\u0092s Working Cabinet Ministers<\/p><\/div>\n

Having been long awaited by the public, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) finally announced the line-up of their cabinet\u0092s ministers. This cabinet is named the \u0093Working Cabinet.\u0094<\/p>\n

This line-up of the cabinet ministers was announced by President Jokowi in the back yard of Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Sunday evening (26\/10). While announcing the names of the cabinet\u0092s ministers, President Jokowi, who was accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, Vice President Jusuf Kalla, and Madam Mufidah Jusuf Kalla, also introduced each one of the ministers.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Here are the names of the 34 ministers announced directly by President Jokowi.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of State Secretariat: Pratikno<\/b>; Rector of Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta, Professor of Politics and Government, a once village-boy who then succeeded in cities<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of National Development Planning\/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas): Andrinof Chaniago<\/b>, expert in public policy and budget who has written numerous books concerning the failures of development. \u0093I invite him to prevent our development from failing,\u0094 President Jokowi explained.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs: Indroyono Susilo<\/b>, highly-experienced doctor, the Food and Agriculture Organization\u0092s (FAO\u0092s) director of fisheries and sea farming. \u0093I ask him to safeguard the maritime potential in all territory of the Republic of Indonesia,\u0094 Jokowi said.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of Transportation: Ignasius Jonan<\/b>, President Director of PT KAI (Indonesia\u0092s state-owned rail company), professional manager who is experienced in public transportation, often works overtime and spends many of his nights sleeping in the railway coaches. \u0093Now, in addition to the railway coaches, he can spend his nights sleeping in the planes or in the ships,\u0094 President Jokowi said.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries: Susi Pudjiastuti<\/b>, entrepreneur woman, hard worker who started from zero but then made many breakthroughs and succeeded in developing transportation related to maritime affairs<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of Tourism: Arief Yahya<\/b>, chief executive officer (CEO) of PT Telkom (Indonesia\u0092s state-owned telecommunication company), highly-skilled professional, recipient of the \u0093Marketer of the Year 2013\u0094 award. \u0093Watch him out because, in addition to tourism, he can even promote you, certainly by means of information technology,\u0094 Jokowi said.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources: Sudirman Said<\/b>, reliable business manager who is consistent in combating corruption. He was once the executive director of Transparency Indonesia and is now the President Director of PT Pindad (Indonesia\u0092s state-owned land-systems and weapons maker).<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinating Minister of Political, Legal, and Security Affairs: Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno<\/b>, former Navy Chief of Staff, the right person to take charge of political, legal, and security affairs especially because we want to focus on maritime affairs now<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of Home Affairs: Tjahjo Kumolo<\/b>, professional politician who is resolute and highly skilled in building dialogs with the public and regional governments. \u0093By chance, he also comes from Solo,\u0094 Jokowi said.<\/p>\n

10.\u00a0 Minister of Foreign Affairs: Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi<\/b>, career diplomat, Indonesian Ambassador to the Netherlands, hard worker, resolute and visionary personality. She is the first female Minister of Foreign Affairs in Indonesia\u0092s history.<\/p>\n

11.\u00a0 Minister of Defense: Ryamizard Ryacudu<\/b>, intellect soldier, former Army Chief of Staff, who is democratic and loyal to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. \u0093I ask him to take charge of our defense,\u0094 Jokowi said.<\/p>\n

12.\u00a0 Minister of Law and Human Rights: Yasona Laoly<\/b>, professional politician, expert in law, who is experienced especially in legal protection. He is expected to bring improvements to Indonesian law.<\/p>\n

13.\u00a0 Minister of Communications and Information: Rudiantara<\/b>, chief executive officer, professional in public telecommunications and information<\/p>\n

14.\u00a0 Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform: Yuddy Chrisnandi<\/b>, young politician and skilled professional. \u0093I ask him to make fresh breakthroughs,\u0094 President Jokowi asked.<\/p>\n

15.\u00a0 Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs: Sofyan Djalil<\/b>, expert in economic and financial strategies, an Acehnese, to be the main leader of the Working Cabinet<\/p>\n

16.\u00a0 Minister of Finance: Bambang Brodjonegoro<\/b>, professional economist, known as experienced and uncorrupt personality, expert in fiscal decentralization and poverty eradication<\/p>\n

17.\u00a0 Minister of State-Owned Enterprises: Rini Soemarno<\/b>, professional who is highly-experienced as chief executive officer (CEO) in big companies, hard worker, head of the Transitional Team, former Minister of Trade and Industry \u0093She is a very fast, very energetic worker,” Jokowi mentioned.<\/p>\n

18.\u00a0 Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises: AA Puspayoga<\/b>, professional from political party who is very active in developing entrepreneurship<\/p>\n

19.\u00a0 Minister of Industry: Saleh Husin<\/b>, professional from political party<\/p>\n

20.\u00a0 Minister of Trade: Rahmat Gobel<\/b>, professional who has shown proven experience in the development of national trade. \u0093I assign him to develop Indonesia\u0092s trade,\u0094 President Jokowi said.<\/p>\n
