In his remarks, President Jokowi expressed his hope that people do not need to use the card or in other words they should stay healthy. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u0093Don\u0092t get excited to use the card. I have the KIS and I don\u0092t want to use it. You should not use it,\u0094 President Jokowi said adding that they should stay healthy and prevent sickness by adopting healthy eating habits, regular exercise, and healthy sleeping habits.<\/p>\n<p>President Jokowi also emphasized that health care providers must not impede and complicate people for receiving health services. The President added that he will investigate hospitals if he receives a report that they impede people for accessing health services.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of State admitted that he received a report that Healthcare Security Provider Body (BPJS Kesehatan) has covered medical fees amounting to Rp624 million for one patient in Tanjung Pinang, and Rp435 million for one patient in Central Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093We paid (the medical fees), because it is our obligation. Why? We want them to be healthy again,\u0094 the President firmly said.<\/p>\n<p>Beside the two patients, the Body also covered medical fees amounting to Rp356 million for one patient in Jakarta and Rp1.098 billion for one patient with hemophilia in Karanganyar, Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>This is the task of the Government to resolve issues related to health. Nevertheless, President Jokowi hopes all Indonesians will stay healthy.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, the President also handed over an award to 4 provinces, 2 regencies, and 2 cities that manage to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC), among others; 1. Special Capital Region of Jakarta; 2. West Papua Province; 3. Aceh Province; 4. Gorontalo Province; 5. Badung Regency; 6. East Luwu Regency; 7. Cirebon City; and 8.
