(Photo by: Public Relations Division\/Rahmat)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>President Joko \u0093Jokowi\u0094 Widodo, accompanied by Vice President Jusuf Kalla, received the Audit Summary (LHP) on the 2017 Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) from the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK) at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday (4\/6) morning.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of BPK Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara said that the BPK granted an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on the 2017 LKPP based on the results of the assessment of 87 Financial Reports of the Ministries\/Institutions (LKKL) and one Financial Report of the State Treasury (LKBUN). <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The BPK grants WTP rating to 80 LKKL\/LKBUN (or 90%), Qualified Opinions (WDP) to six LKKL, and Disclaimer opinion(TMP) to two Financial Reports of the Ministry(LKK),&#8221; Moermahadi said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Chairman of BPK, WDP is given to: 1. The Ministry of Defense; 2. The Ministry of Youth and Sports; 3. The National Committee of Human Rights (Komnas HAM); 4. The Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (Bapeten); 5. LPP TVRI (state-owned tv station); and 6. LPP RRI (state-owned radio station).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) and the Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) obtained Disclaimer opinion.<\/p>\n<p>The issues found in the eight Ministries\/Institutions (K\/L) that have not obtained the WTP, according to the Chairman of BPK, in general include Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), Goods Spending, Capital Expenditures, Non-Tax Receivables, Fixed Assets, Other Assets, and Debt to the Third party.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the BPK assessed overall there was a trend of improving the quality of opinion from the LHP of LKPP. Moermahadi mentioned that last year only 74 LKKL (or 84%) obtained WTP, eight LKKL obtained WDP, and six LKKL obtained Disclaimer opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Upon these findings, the BPK gives recommendation to the Government for improved management and accountability of the State Budget, namely: a. improve the information system of financial statements and tax receivables; b. set the policy of settlement of excess\/deficit of revenue from the sale of diesel and premium; and c. make appropriate policy schemes in the settlement of the Healthcare Security Provider Body (BPJS) liabilities to hospitals and participants.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In accordance with the Law, an explanation or statement about the follow-up of recommendations submitted within 60 days from the receipt of the LHP of the BPK,&#8221; Moermahadi concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Also present on the occasion were Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Wiranto, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut B. Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Health Nila F. Moeloek, Minister of Social Affairs Idrus Marham, the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian, and a number of BPK\u0092s high ranking officials.
