The participants of Bakohumas visit Village-Owned Enterprise Sima Sari Dana in Kesiman Petilan Village, Denpasar, Tuesday (24\/7)<\/p><\/div>\n

Starting the second day of Thematic Forum\u00a0of the Government\u00a0Public Relations Coordination Agency\u00a0(Bakohumas) organized by Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT), Secretary General of the Ministry Anwar Sanusi said that Village Facilitator is established to provide partners for the community in order to manifest the mandate of the law.<\/p>\n

\u0093One of the approaches to enhance the capacity of village developer so they understand the issues of villages is to establish a Village Academy,\u0094 Sanusi said in Bali, Tuesday (24\/7). <\/p>\n

The village academy is not a formal education. Its establishment is aimed at developing the capacity of Village Facilitator. This academy is expected to increase funding ability of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) so they do not only receive fund only from the Central Government.<\/p>\n

Also on that occasion, the Special Staff to the President for the Economy Ahmad Erani Yustika stated that the economic growth trap has been surpassed and it continues to rise.<\/p>\n

For the record, in 2015, the target of growth was 5.6 percent, whereas the realization was 4.8 percent. In 2016, the target was 5.3 percent while the realization was 5.02 percent; and in 2017 the target was 5.1 percent, whereas the realization was 5.07 percent. In addition to that, so far, inflation rate is stable.<\/p>\n

After a discussion session, the participants of the Thematic Forum closely observed one of Dharma Pertiwi Waste Bank Processing Units coached by BUMDes Sima Sari Dana in Kesiman Petilan Village, East Denpasar Subdistrict.<\/p>\n

The Director of BUMDes Sima Sari Dana, I Gusti Ketut Sima, explained that the waste bank is managed by the community. There are eight workers and supported by four means of transportation. So far, the waste bank has produced organic fertilizer.<\/p>\n

The BUMDes Sima Sari Dana has cooperated with Dewa Pupuk to distribute their fertilizer to the farmers and also cooperated with Indonesia Power for the distribution of pellets that they produced.<\/p>\n
