Indonesia Men\u0092s Rowing Team Win Gold at 2018 Asian Games, Palembang, South Sumatera Province, Friday (24\/8) (Photo: IST)<\/p><\/div>\n

Indonesian rowing team made a remarkable achievements at the 2018 Asian Games.<\/p>\n

The team clinched 1 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals at the rowing competition held at Jakabaring Sport City, Palembang, South Sumatera Province, \u00a0Friday (24\/8). <\/p>\n

The gold was contributed by Men\u0092s Lightweight Eight category and it is the 9th<\/sup> gold for the host country. The team recorded a time of 6:08:88, or four seconds ahead from Uzbekistan, which ranked second with a time of 6:12: 46, and Hong Kong secured the third position with a time of 6:14:46 respectively.<\/p>\n

The silver medal was bagged in the Men\u0092s Quadruple Scull\u0097 Memo, Kakan Kusmana, Edwin Ginanjar Rudiana and Supianto. Competing in the 2-kilometer dash, the men\u0092s lightweight four team touched the finish line\u00a0in 6.31.00, just 3 seconds behind the gold winner, India, while bronze was won by Thailand.<\/p>\n

Bronze medal was clinched by Indonesian women\u0092s pair which clocked 7:19:02. China\u0092s pair grabbed the gold medal with a time of 7:05.50 and Vietnam\u0092s settled for silver with a time of 7.14.52.<\/p>\n
