Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said that Indonesia has many potential projects for investors, including for Japanese Government and the private sector. The projects are National Strategic Projects (PSN), Kuala Tanjung International Port, Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone, Jakarta-Surabaya high-speed train, Waste-to-Energy Plant (PLTSa), 35,000 MW electricity project, Padang-Pekanbaru Toll Road and 10 New Bali tourist destinations such as Lake Toba, Mandalika, Borobudur, and others.<\/p>\n

The Cabinet Secretary made the statement when attending the 16th<\/sup> Asian Statesmen’s Forum (ASF) at Pullman Hotel, Jakarta, Sunday (26\/8).
\n<\/p>\n

Pramono Anung further said that currently there are several large projects carried out in collaboration with Japan, such as Patimban Port, Jakarta MRT, Masela Block, and the upcoming Jakarta Sewerage System (JSS).<\/p>\n

The Cabinet Secretary also said that Indonesia has good bilateral relations with Japan and expressed his believe that President Joko Widodo and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have good relations and trust each other.<\/p>\n

Pramono Anung further stressed that Indonesian Government has launched the Online Single Submission (OSS) system to support the ease of doing business in Indonesia, and simplify the bureaucracy.<\/p>\n

For the record, Asian Statesmen’s Forum (ASF) is a forum to discuss the current and future relations between Indonesia, ASEAN and Japan to face the rapid global change.<\/p>\n

The focus of the discussion is the latest issues on politics, economy, human resources revolution and ICT (information and communication technology).<\/p>\n

Also present during the event were Indonesian political figures and representatives from Japan, Malaysia and the Philippines.<\/p>\n
