(Photo: PR Division\/Agung)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Cabinet Secretariat through the Office of Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs of the Cabinet Secretariat on Monday (27\/8), held an Entry Meeting on the Evaluation on Implementation of Bureaucratic Reform and Performance Accountability System in Government Institutions at the Cabinet Secretary\u0092s Meeting Room.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs Farid Utomo stated that this was the first meeting to initiate evaluation on Bureaucratic Reform and Performance Accountability System in Cabinet Secretariat. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u0093Cabinet Secretariat will indeed assist Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kementerian PAN RB) during the evaluation,\u0094 Farid Utomo said.<\/p>\n<p>In the meeting, the Deputy also delivered that Cabinet Secretariat is eager to know the evaluation process conducted by the Kementerian PAN RB in order to properly complete the data required.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Assistant to the Deputy of Implementation and Evaluation of Bureaucratic Reform, Apparatus Accountability and Supervision I<em>, <\/em>Kementerian PAN RB, Kamarudin, said that the evaluation will be conducted to specific task and function, namely providing support in cabinet management both in terms of bureaucratic reform and performance accountability, and the discussion on Corruption-Free-Zones (WBK) and the Serving and Clean Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) in particular.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093This year, evaluation on bureaucratic reform will be carried out in depth. Last year assessment and evaluation were viewed in aggregate, but this year we take samples from a certain working unit, in this case is Deputy for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs,\u0094 Kamarudin added.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kamarudin, Kementerian PAN RB hopes all assessment process conducted by Cabinet Secretariat may run well. He also said that good communication regarding documents and other requirements is important in the assessment.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093Beside evaluating the documents, they will also conduct interview, survey, and observation to strengthen the assessment,\u0094 Kamarudin said adding that bureaucratic reform at Cabinet Secretariat is not just a paper, but a culture.<\/p>\n<p>The survey, Kamarudin added, will be performed within the Cabinet Secretariat (internal survey) and by the Central Statistics Agency (external).<\/p>\n<p>Regarding survey sampling at the Office of Deputy for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs of Cabinet Secretariat, Kamarudin said that his Ministry considered Deputy for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs has strategic value because its task is to harmonize laws and regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093The presence of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry in assessing the Bureaucratic Reform and Performance Accountability will be useful if the recommendations given can be implemented properly,\u0094 Kamarudin ended the conversation and added that the Cabinet Secretariat is expected to be a bench learning for ministries\/institutions and regional governments.<\/p>\n<p>Also attending the meeting were Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs Farid Utomo, Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Fadlansyah Lubis, Expert Staff of Bureaucratic Reform Syafruddin, as well as echelon 2, 3 and 4 officials, and staff of Cabinet Secretariat.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>(EN\/ES) <\/strong><strong>(RAS\/LW<\/strong><strong>\/Naster)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cabinet Secretariat through the Office of Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs of the Cabinet Secretariat on Monday (27\/8), held an Entry Meeting on the Evaluation on Implementation of Bureaucratic Reform and Performance Accountability System in Government Institutions at the Cabinet Secretary\u0092s Meeting Room.
