(Photo by: Rahmat\/PR Division).<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) officials, led by its Chairman Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara, met with President Joko \u0093Jokowi\u0094 Widodo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday (4\/10) to deliver the Semester I Auditing Result Summary (IHPS) \u00a0of 2018 (IHPS I-2018).<\/p>\n<p>Based on the press release, the BPK reported that the Agency has saved the state budget amounting to Rp4.13 trillion during the first semester of 2018, that sourced from asset transfer\/deposit to the state or regional treasury amounting to Rp697 billion, correction to subsidy amounting to Rp2.88 trillion, and correction to cost recovery amounting to Rp561.6 billion.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u0093Deposit to the state or regional treasury is conducted as a follow-up of recommendation from the BPK audit result. In the meantime, correction to subsidy is based on the BPK audit result on management of subsidy\/ public service responsibilities (KKP) in 2017. On the other hand, correction to cost recovery means correction to calculation of profit sharing with oil and gas cooperation contractors (KKKS),\u0094 the press release reads.<\/p>\n<p>The IHPS I-2018 also mentioned that in a period of 2003 \u0096 30 June 2017, the BPK has submitted 447 audit findings worth Rp45.65 trillion indicating criminal offences to the Indonesian National Police, the Attorney General, and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).<\/p>\n<p>\u0093425 (95%) out of the total 447 findings worth Rp44.05 trillion have been investigated by the authorized institutions,\u0094 the BPK said.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, the IHPS I-2018 is a summary of 700 audit reports (LHPs) consisting 652 reports in finance aspect, 12 reports in performance aspect, and 36 reports with certain purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding audit reports (LHP) in finance aspect, the BPK gave an unqualified opinion (WTP) on Central Government\u0092s 2017 Financial Report.<\/p>\n<p>The Agency also said that unqualified opinion (WTP) on ministries\/institutions increased from 84 percent in 2016 to 91 percent in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Also accompanying President Jokowi in the event were Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko.\u00a0<strong>(DNA\/RAH\/ES)<\/strong> (<strong>RAS<\/strong>\/<strong>MMB<\/strong>\/<strong>Naster<\/strong>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) officials, led by its Chairman Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara, met with President Joko \u0093Jokowi\u0094 Widodo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday (4\/10) to deliver the Semester I Auditing Result Summary (IHPS) \u00a0of 2018 (IHPS I-2018).
