\nDistinguished ladies and gentlemen,
\nBefore I convey \u00a0my message, let us together pray, have a moment of silence for our brothers and sisters who have just experienced earthquakes and tsunami, be it in Palu, Donggala, and Lombok. May they all be steadfast, patient, and trust and rely on God in facing the ordeal.<\/p>\n

Soon, you are about to take part in an international competition 2018 Asian Para Games. As the best sons and daughters of Indonesia, I have high hopes for all of you to work hard, to give the best for this country. I know and I see that you all have worked hard in your training and try-out sessions. And we hope that it will yield a good result that bring a good name for our country Indonesia.<\/p>\n

I have said that our target is to be in the top eight and get 16 gold medals. If it is missed, that would be fine, as long as we are in the top six or five. If the 16 gold medals target is missed, that would be fine, as long as we could get 20, 25, or 30. All Indonesian people want to see that we can win lots of games and the red-and-white flag will be raised \u00a0and the national anthem \u0093Indonesia Raya\u0094 can be played in every game.<\/p>\n
