Presiden Joko \u0093Jokowi\u0094 Widodo had an informal meeting with Indonesian singer Agnez Mo at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Friday (11\/1).<\/p>\n

On the meeting, Agnez Mo shared her stories and dreams for young generations.<\/p>\n

\u0093We had a casual meeting and discussed the young generations on how to speak up our dreams and to inspire others. We also talked about optimism, hard work, and accurate calculation in reaching the dreams,\u0094 Agnez Mo said to reporters after the meeting. <\/p>\n

President Jokowi on the occasion also asked her decision to start a music career in the international industry.<\/p>\n

\u0093I told him that if I want to be a better person (particularly in music), I need to learn from the experts. As United States is home to dozens of notable musicians in the world, I need to learn from them in the country. I think this spirit also applies to all young generations in Indonesia,\u0094 Agnez said.<\/p>\n

At the meeting which lasted about 30 minutes, Agnez Mo also created a video blog with President Jokowi.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, who accompanied the President in the meeting, said that President Jokowi had a big idea for national talent management. According to him, the Government will establish a database which listed Indonesian high talents in all fields, including sports, science, technology as well as art and culture.<\/p>\n

\u0093The Government will accommodate Indonesian talents, one of them is Agnez Mo who has become our asset in cultural arts,\u0094 Moeldoko said. (BPMI \/ EN)<\/p>\n
