(Photo: OJI\/PR)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In respond to a number of critics regarding the establishment of the Joint Fact-Finding Team (TGPF) on investigation of Novel Baswedan case, President Joko \u0093Jokowi\u0094 Widodo explained that it is based on recommendation from the National Human Rights Commission.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093It is (the recommendation) not come from the Government, yet it is from the National Human Rights Commission on 21 December 2018,\u0094 the President told reporters after reviewing the Online Single Submission (OSS) service at One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) of the Coordinating Investment Board (BKPM), Jakarta, Monday (14\/1).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The recommendation, the President continued, is made to speed up the investigation process of the case. The team consists of members of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Indonesian National Police (Polri) and several experts.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093My responsibility is to monitor the case to be resolved immediately,\u0094 President Jokowi emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, Novel Baswedan, a KPK\u0092s senior investigator, was injured on his face in an acid attack in April 2017. Since then, the case has not been resolved yet.<\/p>\n<p>Polri Chief General Tito Karnavian had signed the assignment letter Number Sgas\/3\/1\/HUK.6.6\/2-19 concerning the establishment of a joint team to investigate and immediately resolve the case.
