Photo by: Jay\/PR.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Workers and employers should have equal and non-hierarchical relationship, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A mutually beneficial relation between the workers and the employers will result in a good partnership,&#8221; Pramono Anung said during an interview at his office several days ago.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe Cabinet Secretary went on to say that after Indonesia\u0092s reformation period, particularly after the Law on Labor has been enacted, Indonesian workers are in a better condition compared to their counterparts in other countries. Moreover, the workers in Indonesia can now obtain their rights that have long been neglected, Pramono said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thus, workers must become partners and friends of the employers. There should be equality between the workers and the employers,&#8221; Pramono added.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding startup development, Pramono said that the Government is committed to providing opportunities and supporting young, millennial generation to join startups which provide new employment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono said that as of today, Indonesia has a limited number of big startups but the Government continuously supports the establishment of new startups.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;(The startups) provide opportunities for young people to be creative. Today, many people no longer work in the closed spaces, nor do they work for private companies or government offices; they have more spaces,&#8221; the Cabinet Secretary said, adding that the Government will provide opportunities for young people to grow and will avoid too much intervention on the startups.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Let them grow and become big (company). After they become big, the Government will regulate them. As of today, the Government has deemed it not yet necessary to issue any detailed regulation on startups,\u0094 Pramono concluded.
