I hope it can be stipulated this month. Thus, I will contact the Minister about her approval for the regulation since she is on a working visit,\u0094 Luhut told reporters after attending a limited meeting, at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, Friday (19\/7).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Coordinating Minister explained that there is no issue regarding the substance of the regulation on electric vehicles and the Presidential Regulation also regulates about the use of local content.<\/p>\n<p>\u0093We also eye to develop battery production facilities since Indonesia has large nickel laterite ore reserves, which is used in lithium batteries,\u0094 he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Coordinating Minister asserted that he and Minister of Industry have agreed to apply import quota on electric cars until Indonesia\u0092s domestic electric car manufacturing industry is established. \u0093It might be applied for two years.
