The family and the Government must provide an ample space for children\u0092s creative process, Indonesian Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has said.<\/p>\n

\u0093So that children grow with excitement and joy, and at the same time prepare them to become a successful person in the future,\u0094 Pramono said on an interview on the National Children’s Day in Jakarta, Monday (22\/7).<\/p>\n

According to him, children should not be overloaded by school curriculum. \u0093It can be a burden and cause them stress,\u0094 he said, adding that the Government must remodel the country\u0092s education system.<\/p>\n

As time changes, Pramono continued, children must also be prepared to adapt to changes and every family certainly has a different approach. \u0093However, children must be given enough space to get to know their family, religion, education and technology,\u0094 he said.<\/p>\n

The Cabinet Secretary further added that children should not be given excessive freedom. However, he also reminded not to greatly hamper their efforts to explore the world. The environment, especially their parents, must always accompany them so that they remain within the boundaries so that they can make their choices and pursue their goals.<\/p>\n

Regarding the role of the Government, he cited an example of the compulsory education program regulated by the Government. This regulation is important since 58 percent of our employments are dominated with elementary and junior high school graduates.<\/p>\n
