(Photo by: Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs)<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indonesia and Timor-Leste have agreed to solve two unresolved segments in border areas separating the two countries, namely Noel Besi-Citrana border and Bijael Sunan-Oben border.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, both countries have also agreed on related technical arrangements in terms of two border points Haumeniana-Passabe and Motaain-Batugede.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agreement is stipulated on a document signed by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto and Chairperson of Border Negotiations of Timor-Leste Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao in Jakarta, Monday (22\/7).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Wiranto, the signing of the agreement marked the completion of land bounder negotiations between the two countries, adding that Indonesia and Timor-Leste will continue to resolve the maritime border negotiations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agreement, he added, will be finalized by Senior Officials\u0092 Consultation to be stipulated in the addendum Number 2 of 2005 on Border Agreement and it will later be stipulated in a comprehensive agreement between Indonesia and Timor-Leste.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;After the completion of the agreement between Indonesia and Timor-Leste, we will begin discussion about maritime borders between the two countries,&#8221; Wiranto said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the meantime, Xanana expressed gratitude to the Indonesian Government for resolving the border issues. &#8220;I hope the completion of the year-long border negotiations will improve relations between two countries,&#8221; he said. <strong>(Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs \/ES)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Translated by: Syarifah Aisyah<br \/>\nEdited by: Estu Widyamurti\/M.
