After his inauguration ceremony as President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2019-2024 period, President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo on Sunday (20\/10) received honorary visits from a number of Vice Presidents of People\u2019s Republic of China, Viet Nam and Myanmar.<\/p>\n

Arriving at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta at 7 pm Western Indonesian Time, Vice President Wang Qishan of China was welcomed by Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, who then invited him to the Credential room.<\/p>\n

In the Credential room, President Jokowi and Vice President Wang Qishan took a group photo. The President then invited Vice President Wang Qishan to fill the guest book. Afterwards, the two leaders held a special meeting for approximately 15 minutes at the Jepara room.<\/p>\n

President Jokowi also received honorary visits from Vice President \u0110\u1eb7ng Th\u1ecb Ng\u1ecdc Th\u1ecbnh of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and Vice President Henry Van Thio of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at around 7:20 pm and at 7:40 pm Western Indonesian Time respectively. Just like the previous meeting, President Jokowi and respected Vice President held a special meeting in the Jepara room.<\/p>\n

President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo was inaugurated as President of the Republic of Indonesia for 2019-2024 period after he took an oath of office in Jakarta, Sunday (20\/10).<\/p>\n

The inauguration marked the start of Jokowi\u2019s second and final term in office after winning April\u2019s presidential race. According to the official count of the General Elections Commission (KPU), Jokowi-Maruf pair secured 55 percent of the votes, defeating Prabowo-Sandiaga pair who secured 45 percent of the votes. \u00a0<\/strong>(UN\/FID\/AGG\/OJI\/ES)<\/p>\n
