(Photo by: Jay\/PR)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Although Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms (PANRB) has opened civil servant recruitment in 2018 and 2019, the number of non-tenured teachers and contract-based government employees (PPPK) who passed the test are still below the allocation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNon-tenured teachers have failed to fill the quota of civil servant candidates allocated (for the Ministry of Education and Culture) which was proposed to the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms (PANRB). It is because they did not pass the selection test or there were no recruitment in several regional governments. In fact, we have allocated 156,000 positions,\u201d the newly-inaugurated Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, who was the Minister of Education and Culture in President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo\u2019s first tenure, Muhadjir Effendy told reporters after the first Plenary Cabinet Meeting of Indonesia Onward Cabinet, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (24\/10).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Thus, Muhadjir affirmed that the Ministry will continue to allocate civil servant candidates formation for non-tenured teachers and PPPK.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the number of quota allocated for the upcoming years, the Coordinating Minister said that it must be discussed with the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of PANRB, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe four ministries must cooperate.
