Photo by: Jay\/PR.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Two newly-inaugurated Constitutional Justices Suhartoyo and Daniel Yusmic Pancastaki have reaffirmed their commitment to impartiality and independence of the Constitutional Court (MK) based on the principle of justice and the constitution.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Even though the Constitutional Court Justices represent the institutions of the House of Representatives (DPR), the Supreme Court (MA) and the President, we should maintain our independence once we become Constitutional Court Justices,\u201d Suhartoyo told the reporters after taking Oath of Office as Constitutional Justice at the State Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (7\/1).<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nSuhartoyo also said that he would uphold the constitution and principle of justice during his tenure as a Constitutional Justice.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Constitutional Justice Daniel Yusmic Pancastaki said that Constitutional Court system allows dissenting opinion or concurring opinion.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are nine Justices (in the Constitutional Court), so there is always a possibility for dissenting opinion or concurring opinion,&#8221; Daniel said.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the conversation with President Jokowi before the Oath of Office ceremony, Constitutional Justices Suhartoyo and Daniel Yusmic Pancastaki said that they did not discuss any substantive matters.
