As many as 36 clean water projects in twelve provinces under the cooperation between Indonesia and Hungary were completed last year, Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of December last year, we had completed 36 projects on clean water supply in twelve provinces. We aim to expand the projects. The details will be further discussed,\u201d Retno told reporters after a bilateral meeting between President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (23\/1).<\/p>\n

The bilateral meeting, Retno said, also discussed people to people contact cooperation, economic cooperation as well as other cooperations, including Hungary\u2019s plan to cooperate with Indonesia on the field of e-toll payments.<\/p>\n

\u201cHungary also offers cooperation to build a cancer treatment center and a military hospital. The details will be further discussed,\u201d Retno said, adding that there is also a possibility of making a joint investment for infrastructure.<\/p>\n

As for Indonesia\u2019s outbound investment in Hungary, state-owned communications company PT Telkom Indonesia, Retno said, has also announced plan to invest in Hungarian mobile payment company Cellum Global.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, President also expressed hope that cooperation between the two countries will not only be limited to investment, but also in other concrete cooperation, Retno added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHungarian Prime Minister has also invited President Jokowi to visit Hungary. This year marks the 65th<\/sup> anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries,\u201d Retno said. (TGH\/EN)<\/p>\n
