(Photo by: Public Relations\/Rahmat)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Job Creation bill can still be revised during the deliberation of the bill by House of Representatives (DPR), Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD has said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Job Creation bill, whether because of the bill is still not right or because of differences in opinion, can still be revised insofar as the bill is still being deliberated by the DPR,&#8221; Mahfud told the press after a limited meeting at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, Tuesday (18\/2).<\/p>\n<p>Any typo, according to the Coordinating Minister, can be corrected during the deliberation period by the DPR, adding that the people can highlight articles that are deemed incorrect and the DPR can revise it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A bill in a democratic country can be revised during the deliberation period. The process of public evaluation is open and transparent. Everyone can monitor it,&#8221; Mahfud said, adding that there is no need for an official statement to clarify the confusion.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister also said that the initial process is done by Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and that it is common for a bill on deliberation to have incorrect parts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is why the people are given the opportunity to monitor the DPR and the bill. The people can be informed and then improve it,\u201d he concluded.
