\nIn a bid to implement provisions of Article 31 of Law Number 12 of 2011 on the Establishment of Laws and Regulations as amended by Law Number 15 of 2019 on the Amendment to Law Number 12 of 2011 on the Establishment of Laws and Regulations and Article 31 of Presidential Regulation Number 87 of 2014 on Regulation for Implementation of Law Number 12 of 2011 on the Establishment of Laws and Regulations, the Government deemed it necessary to stipulate a Presidential Decree on Programs to Draft Presidential Regulation for 2020.<\/p>\n

In that consideration, President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo on 13 February 2020 signed Presidential Decree Number 5 of 2020 on Programs to Draft Presidential Regulation for 2020.<\/p>\n

Under this Presidential Decree, the President stipulates that the Presidential Regulation Bill is an integral part of this Presidential Decree. In addition, the Programs to Draft Presidential Regulation for 2020 shall apply for a period of 1 (one) year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe initiator shall report the realization progress of the drafting of Presidential Regulation Bill as referred to in the First Dictum quarterly to the Minister of Law and Human Rights,\u201d the Third Dictum of the Presidential Decree reads.<\/p>\n

The President also authorized Minister of Law and Human Rights to verify and evaluate the realization progress report of the drafting of Presidential Regulation Bill as referred to in the Third Dictum to be reported back to the President.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Presidential Decree shall apply as of the date of its promulgation,\u201d the Fifth Dictum of the Presidential Decree Number 5 of 2020 reads. (EN<\/strong>)<\/p>\n
