The Indonesian Government has announced that former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and Korean-Japanese technology entrepreneur Masayoshi Son will be consultants for the Government\u2019s capital relocation project.<\/p>\n

The news was announced by President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo when hosting the two figures at the Merdeka Palace, Friday (28\/2).<\/p>\n

\u201cI welcomed Tony Blair and Masayoshi Son at the Palace to further talk about the capital relocation,\u201d President Jokowi said.<\/p>\n

According to the President, the collaboration is expected to draw the best result in building an environmentally-friendly capital.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Tony Blair expressed gratitude to be able in Indonesia to discuss about the issue.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn my opinion, the capital relocation plan is an extraordinary vision from President Jokowi,\u201d Tony said, adding that he is delighted to take part in the project.<\/p>\n

For the record, Tony Blair served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007. He was also the founder and patron of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, other than an entrepreneur, Masayoshi Son is also an investor, a philanthropist, and founder as well as CEO of the Japanese holding company Softbank. (HIM\/EN)<\/p>\n
