In a bid to slow down the spread of covid-19 outbreak in the country, the Government has extended the disaster emergency period until 29 May 2020.<\/p>\n

The outbreak of the corona virus has become widespread and caused fatalities, property losses, psychological impacts on the society, and disrupted people\u2019s lives and livelihoods.<\/p>\n

Head of the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Doni Monardo has issued Decree Number 13A of 2020 on the Extension of Status of the Certain Disaster Emergency Conditions Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic in Indonesia signed on 29 February 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cExtension of Status of Certain Conditions as referred to in the first dictum is valid for 91 (ninety-one) days, starting from 29 Feb to 29 May 2020,\u201d reads the second Dictum of the Decree.<\/p>\n

Under this Decree, all costs and expenses incurred as a result of the issuance of this Decree shall be borne by the BNPB through its Ready-to-Use Funds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Decree shall apply from the date of its promulgation, with the provision that if inaccuracies are found at a later date, an amendment is made as necessary,\u201d reads the fourth dictum of the Decree. (EN)<\/p>\n
