{"id":188851,"date":"2020-04-20T11:39:50","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T04:39:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/?p=188851"},"modified":"2020-04-21T11:46:11","modified_gmt":"2020-04-21T04:46:11","slug":"work-from-home-order-for-civil-servants-extended-to-13-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/en\/work-from-home-order-for-civil-servants-extended-to-13-may\/","title":{"rendered":"Work-from-Home Order for Civil Servants Extended to 13 May"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-188854\" src=\"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/SE-Menpan-Nomor-50-WFH-ASN-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"731\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/SE-Menpan-Nomor-50-WFH-ASN-1.png 731w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/SE-Menpan-Nomor-50-WFH-ASN-1-300x183.png 300w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/SE-Menpan-Nomor-50-WFH-ASN-1-600x367.png 600w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/SE-Menpan-Nomor-50-WFH-ASN-1-700x428.png 700w, https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/SE-Menpan-Nomor-50-WFH-ASN-1-360x220.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Government has decided to extend the work-from-home order for the country\u2019s civil servants to 13 May 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(The work from home order) will be extended to 13 May 2020 and will be further evaluated should the need arise&#8221; Secretary of Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Dwi Wahyu Atmaji said in Jakarta, Monday (20\/4).<\/p>\n<p>The work-from-home order is based on Circular of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 50 of 2020 on the Second Amendment to Circular of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 19 of 2020 on Adjustment of Work System of State Civil Apparatus to Prevent the Spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) at Government Institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Several points of note in the newly-issued circular are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><em>First<\/em>, Personnel Supervisor Officer (PPK) at government institutions should ensure that the adjustment of the work system in the Government institutions does not reduce the quality of public service.<\/p>\n<p><em>Second<\/em>, Personnel Supervisor Officer should make adjustment to the work system of government institutions located in the regions that impose Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in accordance with Regulation of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 45 of 2020 on Adjustment of the Work System for State Civil Apparatus at Government Institutions in the regions that impose Large-Scale Social Restrictions.<\/p>\n<p><em>Third<\/em>, Civil servants are required to download \u201cPeduliLindungi\u201d (Care and Protect) app, an application designed for tracing the spread of COVID-19. The application can be downloaded on Play Store for Android users and App Store for iOS users. Civil servants are also expected to invite families and others to download and use the app.<\/p>\n<p>Atmaji went on to say that Circular of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 19 of 2020 and Circular of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 34 of 2020 still apply because there are some provisions that are not stipulated in the new circular.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;(The two circulars) are integral part of Circular of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 50 of 2020,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, the newly-issued circular takes into account Presidential Decree Number 11 of 2020 on Declaration of Public Health Emergency due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and Presidential Decree Number 12 of 2020 on Declaration of Non-Natural Disaster of COVID-19 as National Disaster.
