{"id":191835,"date":"2020-06-03T15:18:50","date_gmt":"2020-06-03T08:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/?p=191835"},"modified":"2020-06-03T15:18:50","modified_gmt":"2020-06-03T08:18:50","slug":"govt-issues-regulation-on-hajj-cost-final-payment-reimbursement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/en\/govt-issues-regulation-on-hajj-cost-final-payment-reimbursement\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov\u2019t Issues Regulation on Hajj Cost Final Payment Reimbursement"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_191836\" style=\"width: 860px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-191836\" class=\"size-full wp-image-191836\" src=\"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/25-haji-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"599\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-191836\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ministry of Religious Affairs<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Following the cancellation of the 1441 Hijri\/2020 AD hajj pilgrimage due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has issued regulation on hajj cost final payment reimbursement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hajj pilgrims who are not able to go on hajj pilgrimage this year may submit an application for hajj cost final payment reimbursement,&#8221; Ministry of Religious Affairs\u2019 Director of Domestic Hajj Services Muhajirin Yanis said in Jakarta, Wednesday (3\/6).<\/p>\n<p>For the record, data from the Ministry\u2019s Integrated Pilgrimage Information System (SISKOHAT) shows that there are 198,765 regular hajj pilgrims who have made final payment of the hajj travel costs for this year\u2019s hajj pilgrimage.<\/p>\n<p>Muhajirin added that the provisions are stipulated in Decree of Minister of Religious Affairs Number 494 of 2020 on the Cancellation of Hajj Pilgrims Departure in the 1441 Hijri\/2020 AD Hajj Pilgrimage.<\/p>\n<p>Muhajirin went on to say that hajj pilgrims should submit a written application for hajj cost final payment reimbursement to Office Head of Ministry of Religious Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>The application should be supported by: a) original receipt of hajj cost final payment issued by recipient Bank; b) copy of passbook with the name of the hajj pilgrim (the original passbook must be shown); c) copy of identity card (the original identity card must be shown); and d) an active telephone number.<\/p>\n<p>The application will be verified and validated by Head of Section in charge of the affairs of Hajj and Umrah at Ministry of Religious Affairs office in cities\/regencies.<\/p>\n<p>If the document is declared complete and valid, the official will input the cancellation of hajj cost final payment in the SISKOHAT application.<\/p>\n<p>The next steps, Muhajirin added, are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1) Head of Ministry of Religious Affairs office submits the written application electronically to Director of Domestic Hajj Services with a copy to Head of provincial office of Ministry of Religious Affairs;<\/p>\n<p>2) Director of Domestic Hajj Services receives the application and confirms the cancellation of the final payment on the SISKOHAT application;<\/p>\n<p>3) Director of Domestic Hajj Services, on behalf of Director General of Hajj and Umrah, submits application for hajj cost final payment reimbursement to the Hajj Fund Management Agency (BPKH) c.q. BPKH Executive Board;<\/p>\n<p>4) The recipient bank, upon receiving Payment Order (SPM) from the BPKH, immediately transfers the reimbursement to hajj pilgrim account and confirms the transfer on the SISKOHAT application.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The procedures are expected to complete in nine days &#8211; two days at the offices of Ministry of Religious Affairs, three days at Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah, two days at the the Hajj Fund Management Agency, and two days for transfer from the bank to hajj pilgrim account,&#8221; Muhajirin explained.<\/p>\n<p>Muhajirin further said that if the hajj pilgrim is deceased, the hajj ticket can be transferred to the pilgrim\u2019s husband, wife, father, mother, biological children, or siblings.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The replacement can be available for the next year hajj pilgrimage as long as the Indonesian hajj quota is still available,&#8221;
