President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, on Thursday (25\/6), visited Rogojampi Traditional Market which is one of the public service market units in Banyuwangi, East Java Province.<\/p>\n

The public service market is a local government attempt to improve public services. The market is part of the Banyuwangi Public Service Mall, which since 2017 has integrated more than 200 document or licensing services in one place.<\/p>\n

For the record, there are three integrated public service places in Banyuwangi, namely the Public Service Mall, the Genteng Public Service Market, and the Rogojampi Public Service Market.<\/p>\n

The public service market provides population and licensing services integrated with traditional markets making it easier for residents to administer administrative documents in the midst of shopping activities.<\/p>\n

Arrived at the market at 14.12 Western Indonesian Time, President Jokowi, accompanied by Banyuwangi Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas, inspected the market. The President appeared wearing a face shield and keeping a safe distance.<\/p>\n

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the public service market put efforts into implementing the health protocols amid the New Normal such as managing the queue line to fit the health protocols.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the President, accompanied by Head of the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office of Banyuwangi Wawan Yatmadi, also inspected a number of supporting facilities such as online queue service, printing machines for Family Cards or Identity Cards.<\/p>\n

Also accompanying President Jokowi during the visit were, among others, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal. and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Wishnutama Kusubandio,\u00a0 Head of the COVID-19 Task Force Doni Monardo, and East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa.
