Photo by: Public Relations of Cabinet Secretariat<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Strict health protocols have been implemented during the inauguration ceremony of Riau Islands Governor, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono has said.<\/p>\n<p>The statement was made in response to the news circulating in the media that the Riau Islands Governor Isdianto has tested positive for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>In the statement delivered to the Bureau of Press, Media, and Information of the Presidential Secretariat, Saturday (1\/8), Heru explained that a swab test has been conducted for the Governor, his family members, and relevant officials prior to the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p>During the inauguration ceremony, the Presidential Secretariat also minimized direct contact between President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo and the Governor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. President did not directly hand over the Presidential Decree. The Decree is put on a table near the Governor of the Riau Islands, and the Governor took the file by himself. We have strictly implemented the health protocols,&#8221; Heru said.<\/p>\n<p>Heru further said that the obligation for wearing face mask and keeping a safe distance is strictly implemented in the Presidential Palace, especially during the inauguration ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;During the inauguration, we did not invite many officials.
