(Photo by: Jay\/ PR)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Government continues to strengthen commitment to reduce stunting in Indonesia to 14 percent by 2024 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>According to Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto, reducing stunting remains the Government\u2019s top priority.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to work to reduce stunting in the country by adhering to health protocols,\u201d he said at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (8\/5).<\/p>\n<p>The President, the Minister added, also pointed out that the Government will focus the efforts to reduce stunting in 10 regions and then 10 provinces, and coordination between ministries and institutions will be more intensified.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister also said that the President also encouraged efforts to reduce stunting through social protection programs such as the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) run by Ministry of Social Affairs.<strong> (TGH\/EN)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Translator: Muhardi<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reviewed by: M.
