Fadjroel Rachman has said.<\/p>\n<p>Fadjroel said that the budget allocation was requested by the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). The disbursement of the budget, he added, must comply with the principles of State financial management, namely accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The budget approval has come into force based on Government Regulation Number 35 of 2020 on Amendment to Government Regulation Number 7 of 2018 on Compensation, Restitution and Support for Witnesses and Victims which was signed by President Joko Widodo on 7 July 2020 and was promulgated on 8 July 2020,&#8221; Fadjroel said in a press release in Jakarta, Friday (18\/9).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fadjroel<\/strong> further said that the Government Regulation Number 35 of 2020 stipulates that the Government will cover any loss suffered by every victim, in the forms of compensation, medical assistance, and psychological assistance. The request for compensation can be submitted by victims of terrorism, their families, or their inheritors through the LPSK.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;President Joko Widodo carries out his constitutional duties to protect the entire people of Indonesia, including those affected by COVID-19 pandemic, victims of terrorism, and victims of human rights violations. <em>Salus populi suprema lex esto<\/em>.
