{"id":203082,"date":"2020-11-25T15:29:25","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T08:29:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/?p=203082"},"modified":"2020-11-26T15:35:09","modified_gmt":"2020-11-26T08:35:09","slug":"cabinet-secretariat-holds-fgd-on-management-of-sports-facilities-infrastructure-post-national-games","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/en\/cabinet-secretariat-holds-fgd-on-management-of-sports-facilities-infrastructure-post-national-games\/","title":{"rendered":"Cabinet Secretariat Holds FGD on Management of Sports Facilities, Infrastructure Post National Games"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_203083\" style=\"width: 733px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-203083\" class=\"size-full wp-image-203083\" src=\"https:\/\/setkab.go.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PMK.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"723\" height=\"482\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-203083\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Human Development and Culture Affairs Yuli Harsono delivers his remarks at the FGD on Optimizing Management of Sports Facilities and Infrastructure Post-Implementation of the National Sports Week (PON), virtually, Wednesday (25\/11).<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Cabinet Secretariat\u2019s Deputy for Human Development and Culture Affairs on Wednesday (25\/11) held a virtual Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme &#8220;Optimizing Management of Sports Facilities and Infrastructure Post-Implementation of the National Sports Week (PON)&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>According to Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Human Development and Culture Affairs Yuli Harsono, the FGD was aimed at obtaining views and critical analysis from stakeholders on the conditions and problems in managing sports infrastructure and facilities in various regions that have hosted the event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will propose the results of the FGD as a policy recommendation on optimizing the management of sports infrastructure and facilities to President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo in order to support the improvement of our athletes&#8217; achievements and national sports industry,&#8221; Yuli said.<\/p>\n<p>The FGD, Yuli stated, also serves as an effort to follow up the President\u2019s directive during the limited meeting on continued discussion on the 2020 National Sports Week and National Paralympic Games XVI in Papua Province, last April.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe President\u2019s directive is to pay special attention to post-PON venues in various regions in terms of maintenance or more professional handling,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, on Indonesia\u2019s bidding as the host of the 2032 Summer Olympics on November, Yuli stated, the President has also ordered that the candidacy can be used as a momentum to organize ourselves and improve various things including preparation in infrastructure, athletes, as well as eligibility to host the 2032 Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>The FGD, Yuli said, was also held to discuss the results of monitoring and evaluation carried out by the Cabinet Secretariat on the management of infrastructure and facilities after PON in four provinces, namely Riau, South Sumatra, West Java, and East Kalimantan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMonitoring and evaluation on the implementation of government policies, in this matter, in managing sports infrastructure and facilities is one of the functions of Cabinet Secretariat regulated in Presidential Regulation Number 55 of 2020,&#8221; he said<\/p>\n<p>Based on the monitoring and evaluation, the Deputy said, five issues were found. First, some venues were damaged due to unoptimal maintenance.
