Indonesian Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati has stated that the 2021 State Budget (APBN) will be focused on strengthening the country\u2019s economic foundation.<\/p>\n

\u201cState expenditure in the field of human capital remains a top priority. The budget allocation includes more than Rp500 trillion for education, Rp196 trillion for healthcare sector, more than Rp400 trillion for social assistance, and more than Rp430 trillion for infrastructure,\u201d Sri Mulyani said at the Indonesia Outlook 2021 event on Friday (11\/12).<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the economic contraction in Q2 of 2020, the Minister continued, the expenditure allocation was aimed to drive the economy in 2021 and to ensure Indonesia’s economy can rebound next year.<\/p>\n

According to Sri Mulyani, the economic recovery program will rely on local economic activities and collaboration between the Government and all sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Government’s efforts can only be carried out in collaboration with the business sector and the community,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
