Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has ordered stricter restrictions of work-from-office policy in the Cabinet Secretariat office premises.<\/p>\n

According to Pramono, the Government will implement restrictions on community activities (PKM) on 11-25 January in Java and Bali Provinces.<\/p>\n

“The number of people working in the office will be cut down in the next two weeks starting from 11 to 25 January,” he said.<\/p>\n

The restriction policy, he added, is carried out as an effort to reduce the rate of increasing COVID-19 active cases.<\/p>\n

“We have recorded the highest additional new cases more than 9,000. That should make us more vigilant, especially in the family cluster,” Cabinet Secretary said.<\/p>\n

To that end, he urged his ranks to remain disciplined in implementing the 3M health protocols (mask-wearing, hands-washing, and physical-distancing).<\/p>\n

“I always remind all of you that being alert is pivotal, health protocols must be maintained in this pandemic era,” he said.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, Cabinet Secretary expressed hope that through the COVID-19 vaccination program in Indonesia, which will also be provided to all officials and staff, Cabinet Secretariat’s performance will be more optimal.<\/p>\n

“If the vaccine has been injected twice, our performance can be improved,” he stated.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, the Government has decided to impose restrictions on community activities (PKM), with the following conditions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. limiting activities at the workplace\/office by implementing work-from-home (WFH) policy that requires 75 percent of workers with more stringent health protocols;<\/li>\n
  2. teaching and learning activities will be carried out online;<\/li>\n
  3. for essential sectors related to the basic needs of the community, they can still operate 100 percent by regulating operating hours and capacities, and implementing more stringent health protocols;<\/li>\n
  4. regulating the restrictions on restaurant activities (dining in) by 25 percent capacity and take-away food service is still allowed in accordance with restaurant operating hours; as well as restrictions on operating hours for shopping centers\/malls to 7 p.m.;<\/li>\n
  5. construction activities are allowed to operate 100 percent with stricter health protocols;<\/li>\n
  6. activities at houses of worship can still be carried out with 50 percent capacity with stricter health protocols;<\/li>\n
  7. public facilities, social and cultural activities are suspended; and<\/li>\n
