(Photo by: Public Relations\/Rahmat)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung highlighted the importance of cooperation and mutual coordination between related ministries\/institutions\/regional governments in the efforts to implement Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2021 on the Acceleration of Economic Development in State Border Areas of Aruk, Motaain, and Skouw.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We can&#8217;t work individually, this has to be teamwork. One of our weaknesses is our strong sectoral ego. So, if we work individually, the results won&#8217;t be optimal,&#8221; the Cabinet Secretary said virtually at the meeting on the implementation of Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2021 from his office in Jakarta, Monday (19\/1).<\/p>\n<p>For the record, as stated in the Presidential Instruction which can be accessed at jdih.setkab.go.id, the Cabinet Secretary was ordered to coordinate the supervision on the implementation of the Presidential Instruction.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, Pramono stated that the Presidential Instruction and its attachments will be implemented and completed no later than two years from its issuance. &#8220;We have to do the best we can in the 2021-2022 period,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>In the Presidential Instruction, there are 60 programs comprising of:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0 Aruk Border Area of West Kalimantan Province, 21 programs in the fields of agriculture (rice) and plantations (pepper, coconut, and citrus);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Motaain Border Area of West Nusa Tenggara Province, 20 programs in the livestock sector (cattle and chickens); and<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Skouw Border Area of Papua Province, 19 programs in the fields of fisheries and agriculture (rice, corn and sago).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On the limited time of two years, the President fully hopes that all of us can realize this Presidential Instruction,&#8221; the Cabinet Secretary said.<\/p>\n<p>Pramono also mentioned the example of special duties these ministries\/institutions\/regional governments are assigned for.
