The transaction is considered illegal as it is against the rules of the country&#8217;s financial system.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think the Muamalah Market transaction using Dinar-Dirham does deviate from the rules of our financial system,&#8221; Vice President said as quoted from wapresri.go.id, Thursday (04\/02).<\/p>\n<p>On the arrest of the violator by the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Department of the Indonesian National Police, Ma&#8217;ruf stated that this was an effort to enforce the law for violations of financial transaction regulations in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our financial system has regulated that our tool of transactions is Rupiah,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the Vice President affirmed that law enforcement is important to prevent chaos in the national economic and financial system.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our country&#8217;s system has rules, how the transaction is regulated, there are provisions on financial and economic matters,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Vice President stated that in upholding a sharia-based market or empowering the economy of the people, the people still have to use mechanisms regulated in laws and regulations, such as sharia banking which has legal protection in the form of laws and fatwas from the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Outside of that, it will certainly damage the ecosystem of our national economy and finances,&#8221; he said.\u00a0<strong>(BPMI SETWAPRES\/UN) (FI\/LW)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every transaction in Indonesia must use Rupiah currency as a legal payment instrument in the country, Vice President Ma&#8217;ruf Amin said.
