Image source: YouTube channel of Presidential Secretariat.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The national movement to buy Indonesian products (Gernas BBI) has been successful and the Government would expand the program to develop local economy, President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo has said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Continuing the success of the national movement to buy Indonesian products, this year\u2019s BBI will focus more on developing regional potentials,&#8221; the President said in his remarks during the launching of &#8220;Buy Creative Products of Lake Toba&#8221; campaign, Saturday (20\/02).<\/p>\n<p>According to the President, in 2020 the Gernas BBI succeeded in inviting more than 3.8 million creative workers and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to join e-commerce platforms so that they can expand their product to the national market and even foreign markets.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, the President also officially launches the &#8220;Buy Creative Products of Lake Toba&#8221; campaign.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am proud to officially launch the &#8220;Buy Creative Products of Lake Toba&#8221; campaign. The campaign will be coupled with training and assistance for creative workers and MSMEs to really advance in the digital industry,&#8221; President Jokowi said, adding that the lake Toba area is a super priority tourism destination that has tremendous potential.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The combination of tourism and the results of the creative economy deserves to be echoed to the national and the global stages and is expected to be able to revive the Indonesian economy through the digital industry,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Concluding his remarks, the President said that in line with the launching of the &#8220;Buy Creative Products of Lake Toba&#8221; campaign, the Government also introduced the Tourism Hub Network (JP Hub) application.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The application will provide information for searching and booking destinations, covering the destinations in provincial to village levels.
