(Photo by: Cabinet Secretariat PR\/Jay)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Newly-inaugurated Managing Director of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Workers Social Security Provider Body), Anggoro Eko Cahyo, made a firm commitment to carry out digital transformation.<\/p>\n<p>The measure is taken in order to address three main challenges, namely, increasing number of workers registered as active participants, improvement of services and benefits for the workers, and optimization of investment because the participants have rights to obtain the investment return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, President Joko \u201cJokowi\u201d Widodo has trusted Directors of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to manage considerable amount of fund. For that reason, we will execute our tasks with high integrity, good management, and innovation,\u201d Anggoro said after the inauguration of Board of Supervisors and Board of Directors of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Workers Social Security Provider Body), Monday (22\/2), at the State Palace, Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>He also affirmed his commitment to enhance cooperation and communication with all stakeholders. The BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, he added, will also improve collaboration with ministries\/institutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince we cannot work alone, we must establish good communication and coordination with the Board of Supervisors,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>Echoing similar sentiment, Head of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan\u2019s Board of Supervisors, Muhammad Zuhri, asserted that he will do the utmost for the advancement of the Body and for the sake of people\u2019s welfare.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must work together in carrying out these challenging tasks. In order to improve the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and people\u2019s welfare, I am ready to work hand in hand with the Board of Directors.
